Plays

As a playwright I have a passion for personal relationships, a fascination with chaos theory, and a penchant for the comedy in everyday life. My work includes Vaslav, Everybody Else (is fucking perfect), The Happy Factory, I’ll Have What She’s Having, sky too big, Getting There, The Best or Nothing, and Laying Blame, as well as several short plays. This year, Roomies is coming.

Everybody Else (is fucking perfect) is available as an ebook.

I also have monologues in some of the ICWP collections.

Hello Karen. My name is Keith Walker and I’m in The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland. I have to find a monologue to perform for the school at the end of March and after much searching I came across your play; “I’ll Have What She’s Having” and in particular the scene with ‘Narwaiter’. I think it’s an amazing piece of writing. I love it’s fast paced nature and the complete outward exasperation of the character. It reminds me very much of the character Patrick Bateman in American pyscho. I would really appreciate if you come e-mail me some detailed information about the play or perhaps the script itself. I would be more than happy to pay any fees of any nature. Thank you.

    Hi, Karen.

I’m a sophomore theatre student at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI,

In searching for a monologue for one of my classes, I stumbled across the Narwaiter’s monologue in I’ll Have What She’s Having. It’s already one of my favorite monologues, and a great bit of writing. Is there a way I could get my hands on a physical copy of the play?

    Karen,

I’m a highschool junior from Southern California. I had stumbled upon the Narwaiter monologue a year or two ago and had fallen in love with the character. I was wondering if there was any way possible to get a copy of the full script for I’ll Have What She’s Having? I would love to get more in depth with the characters and get more of a feel as to how the characters are portrayed.

    Any information is greatly appreciated!
